Kites are a great way to enjoy the outdoors on days that are too windy for a traditional model aircraft to fly safely! But you don’t have to drive to the store to purchase a kite, we will show you how to build your own out of common household items! This project is fun for all ages and allows you to create a great flying aircraft that you build and decorate yourself, not to mention learning about the four forces of flight! As always, be careful about how high you fly your kite, any obstacles in the area, and don’t fly near power lines!
