Camp AMA

This will be a fun, preparatory course for youth ages 5-12 to learn model aviation fundamentals that will help to prepare them for more advanced aeromodeling opportunities in the future.

Virtual camp will take place July 6-10, 2020. Participation is completely free and many of the activities can be done using items that most homes will have on hand. We will present Science, Technology, Engineering, Artistic, and Mathematics (STE(A)M) challenges each morning that are fun and educational. Every afternoon we will host live conversations with leaders in the aviation industry.

Unfortunately the deadline to receive the AMA Flight Packs has passed. But registration for AMA Jr. Camp is still live and free! Click the link below to sign up. You'll get access to the online live lessons, and get early access to download the Camp AMA instructions to print out at home. Material lists are available by visiting our FAQ page so you can start getting ready for camp now!

You can register for our virtual camp for free here.

Of course, we’ll be back in person for CAMP AMA 2021, so be prepared to pack your bags and visit the International Aeromodeling Center in Muncie, Indiana, next year!
