How to Fly an Indoor Catapult-Launch Glider

The AMA sponsors aviation events annually in the Science Olympiad and provides $5,000 annually to assist winners to attend secondary education. In addition, a member of the AMA Education Committee was the designer of the 2013 aviation challenge, an indoor catapult-launch glider. Although this particular glider was designed for use in the 2013 Science Olympiad challenge, it makes a great glider for anyone.

Rick Crosslin (AMA member and science teacher) and Tom Sanders (AMA member and Science Olympiad expert) demonstrate how to fly and trim an indoor catapult-launch glider.
